Exploration licences 28411EL and 28412EL were held and worked before lapsing; revoked by the Mining Cadastre Office (Government Notice No. 138, 2022).
OMM came under a new ownership group in October 2024.
Exploration Licence EL68022 granted 13 October 2025 over 66 cadastral units in Borgu LGA, Niger State — the company’s third licence, and its first under the new ownership. Gold-focused field programmes: site investigations, soil and stream-sediment sampling across the licence.
Reconnaissance surveys completed over target areas in Ondo State, with geologist field reports informing the next round of licence applications.
Small-Scale Mining Lease application filed over the 4-cadastral-unit priority gold quadrant carved from EL68022 — the first step from exploration rights toward a mining-stage title.
